SPECIAL USE PERMITS
Utah Code Title 32B, Chapter 10

Special Use Permits are issued for the purchase, sale, storage, use, consumption, or manufacture of alcoholic products in limited types and quantities, and for limited purposes. The fee schedule and Local Consent Form apply to all of the following permits. It is the responsibility of the permittee to ensure permit records are kept current with the DABS. Permits may be granted as follows:

Educational Use Permit Application - Begin Here

Educational Use Permits for persons or organizations involved in educational pursuits:

• Application Fee: None
• One time special use fee: $125
• Bond: None

Industrial or Manufacturing Permit Application - Begin Here

Industrial or Manufacturing Use Permits for persons or organizations involved in industrial or manufacturing pursuits:

• Application Fee: $75
• One-time special use fee: $250
• Industrial or Manufacturing Surety Bond

Public Service Permit Application - Begin Here

Public Service Permits are for operators of airlines, railroads, or other public conveyances:

• The permit year runs from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31.
• Application Fee: $75
• Annual Renewal Fee: $30/flight segment, etc.
• Public Service Surety Bond

Religious Use Permit Application - Begin Here

Religious Use Permits are for religious organizations:

• Application Fee: None
• One-time special use fee: $125
• Bond: None

Scientific Use Permit Application - Begin Here

Scientific Ase Permits are for persons or organizations involved in scientific pursuits:

• Application Fee: None
• One-time special use fee: $125
• Bond: None
