NEWS RELEASE – SEPT. 30, 2025
The town of Marriott-Slaterville welcomes new state liquor store
MARRIOTT-SLATERVILLE, UT – Utah’s Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services (DABS) will open its 52nd operating state liquor store in a new location serving the Ogden market area on October 1, 2025. The new store serves a growing population and increasing out-of-state visitors to this part of northern Utah. Like all new state liquor stores, the Marriott-Slaterville location includes a refrigerated section and features locally-made “Proudly Utah” products.

“The store will serve this community well with its modern, safe shopping experience, increased accessibility to businesses that rely on the DABS for products, and for all Utahns who benefit from the revenue that goes directly to state and local services and programs,” said DABS Executive Director Ericka Evans.
Evans says the store’s anticipated sales during its first nine months in operation is more than $9.8 million. Of those sales, nearly $4 million will go to state and local communities, helping to keep taxes low for all Utahns by funding services such as roads and transportation, public safety, education, and health.
The 12,360 square foot store was completed on time and under budget.
