PRODUCTS FOR OFF-PREMISE RETAIL STORES

APPLY FOR OFF-PREMISE PRODUCTS APPROVAL
All alcoholic products sold at grocery and convenience stores ("off-premise") in Utah must submit an application for approval to the DABS, per a 2023 change in Utah law.

Review the product label style guide to learn labeling requirements and other information on acceptable non-traditional beer products sold off-premise in Utah.

Detailed explanations of label requirements are found on the Label and Packaging Requirements for Off-Premise Products document.

A new off-premise label and product application is now available by clicking the button below. Applications will be submitted using the DABS licensing & permitting system. Learn more about the new system and how you'll get started by creating an account.

New applications must be submitted for all products by September 30, 2023.
